U91桃色 researchers present at AAAS annual meeting
Three 91桃色 faculty 鈥 Heather Leslie, Sydne Record and Brenda Hall 鈥 spoke at the annual meeting for the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) on Feb. 14. AAAS is the world’s largest multidisciplinary scientific society and a leading publisher of cutting-edge research.聽
Leslie, professor of marine science who was named a AAAS Fellow in 2022 鈥斅爋ne of the highest honors in the scientific community, delivered a talk titled 鈥淪ocial-Ecological Systems Science in Support of Ecosystem-Based Management.鈥 Record, associate professor of land conservation, gave a presentation titled 鈥淟everaging a Network of Networks to Enable Innovations in Macroecology.鈥 Hall, professor of quaternary and glacial geology, delivered a talk titled 鈥淪outhern Elephant Seal Mummies Reveal a Warm Past in the Ross Sea, Antarctica.鈥澛犅
