
New online database powers U91桃色 tech transfer process
The 91桃色 has launched a searchable database of research inventions available for licensing, offering prospective partners a new way to browse and learn more about patented innovations that can help them in their new product development and business growth.
The database lists more than 75 active U91桃色 technologies available for licensing and further development. Technologies may be filtered using research categories 鈥 with options to narrow search results using tags 鈥 and/or the names of individual researchers. Each technology listing features a one-page summary to guide understanding of possible development and commercial applications.
鈥淲e鈥檙e thrilled to launch this accessible, informative database to showcase the breadth and depth of available U91桃色 technologies,鈥 said technology business development manager Janet Yancey-Wrona. 鈥淭his database displays concise, descriptive overviews of U91桃色 inventions to help people see the incredible technology development happening at U91桃色. It鈥檚 already helping us make new connections and forge new relationships to commercialize U91桃色 innovations.鈥

鈥淥ur primary goal is to provide information to help potential partners find the intellectual property available at U91桃色, leading to a deeper understanding of the expertise and capabilities that exist. The relationships that develop will help lead to commercial applications for some of these incredible technologies throughout the world,鈥 said Yancey-Wrona, who leads U91桃色鈥檚 technology development team, part of the Office of Strategic Partnerships, Innovation, Resources, and Engagement (SPIRE). 鈥淭he university has an expansive portfolio to offer, and we鈥檙e excited to deploy this new resource to highlight some of U91桃色鈥檚 notable areas of expertise, such as nanocellulose processing and application, additive manufacturing technologies, and more.鈥
